It's time to team up! Starting today, you can now sign up for the upcoming Team Contest. As always, your team will be assigned randomly to one of our four teams - Blue Audril, Green Trido, Red Dovu, and Yellow Sharshel. Staff will make an effort to put past participants on new teams as well in order to unlock team-exclusive avatars and items as well. There's no limit to how many people can join!

Signing up is an easy process. All you need to do is comment on this News Post indicating that you'd like to join. Be sure to do this before June 9th, 23:59:59 IcePets Time, because that is when sign ups will close! If you have any questions about the Team Contest, feel free to post them under this News Post as well.

Behind the Scenes

You¢ve probably noticed that we did not have a May development update. We likely won¢t have a June one either. Despite appearances, things are happening! We¢re working on our ¢game plan¢ (hehe!) which includes a long list of development updates. Since these updates are so intertwined together, we¢re working on them all at once! We didn¢t want to leave all of you completely out of the loop so just know for now that we have a few things up our sleeves.

We¢re shooting to reveal more in July so stay tuned!

Help support our ongoing development! Ingots are now on sale for up to 35% off! Included in the ingot sale, we have brought back packages which include spectral and magic token sacks. The ingot sale will run from today until June 12th at midnight, 12 AM, EST/ gametime. This sale is intended to bring in a bit more revenue to put toward some very exciting upcoming changes as mentioned above.

There will be several more special auctions in the horse market and auction house. These will range from quality breeding stock, special eggs/straws/embryos, and more! Throughout the week until June 12th at 11:59pm EST/gametime, auctions will randomly be placed up for bids for 48 hours.

We are highlighting campaigns that are furthest along, those we find interesting, grade horse projects, and opening up a form to give ideas about crossbreeds! As the days are getting warmer, we inch closer and closer to this year's Team Contest! For those who are new to this exciting event, you're in for a treat! This event is divided into four different teams: Team Blue Audril, Green Trido, Red Dovu, and Yellow Sharshel. When you sign up, you will be entered into a team at random to ensure that each one has an equal number of members. This event lasts for two weeks. Unlike previous competitions, the restocking and questing portions will last all the way from the beginning to the end, rather than one after the other.



To take part in the restocking competition, all you need to do is purchase items from any NPC Shop (except for the Golden Touch and Snow Jar Igloo). Points will be rewarded to your team based on the rarity of the Items you purchase. For example, a Rarity 1 item will grant you 1 point, while a Rarity 5 item will grant you 5 points. The higher the rarity, the more points you earn!



In addition, questing will award points in a similar way. Each Quest you complete will earn your team 10 Points, and all daily Quest limits will be raised to 20! To give yourself a further advantage, you can also use Quest Extenders as usual.

Once you earn a fair amount of points for your team, you will be eligible to receive Team Credits. These can be used to purchase some fun and rare prizes at the Team Contest Shop. Keep a watch out for future News Posts, as the Sign Ups will be posted very soon!
