It has been 8 wonderful years from the time Solpets.com was launched! :D

Even though I am not sure what [user]Earth[/user] is doing now a days I thank her with the bottom of my heart. She helped us get to where we are now in so many ways.

It is also Independence Day, so Silcoon has revamped some items for us! Happy 4th of the July everybody. Stay safe.

We have a new sidebar along with new customization features. You can show/hide your human avatar and shout box. If you have a premium account you can also hide your active pet and myNav.

You can also now unlock new layout themes by buying a crystal from the Crystal shop.

Premium users are also now able to change their profile color and the style of their social buttons. Just go to your settings by clicking "Personal" in the top nav.

Loki has made yet another beautiful theme to match with one of our pet themes. The Celestial theme!

solGoals is now up and running properly. All previous goals collected are still intact.

Loki has also added some wonderful new images to spruce up the area a bit.

We have also added 2 new categories including your account age and how many page views you make.

One beautiful spring day there were two Brenra children wandering the woods around their home. You see, Hana and Anni were on a very important mission that day, they were looking for a gift, but not just any gift, they wanted it to be the most special gift ever.

"So what would be a good gift? I want it to be memorable." Asked Hana, the sun glistening against her amber fur.

"I'm not sure, but I think we should start by gathering some forest berries. You know how much mom loves those." Replied Anni.

"Yeah, and momma really likes wild strawberries." Hana mused.

"Yes, those! We definitely need to get those too." Said the brown Brenra, jumping up as her wings twitched in excitement. "Come on, I know where to find some!"

And so the children took off deeper into the woods, giggling and jumping around in their excitement. Eventually they arrived at a cluster of bushes, wild blackberries and raspberries growing freely and untamed. They brought a basket with them to gather their sweet loot, 'testing' a berry every now and then to confirm they really were as ripe and sweet as they looked. They were. After that though came the more tricky part.

"Now to get the wild strawberries." Said the brown Brenra.

"Shame those don't grow in big bushes."

"Yeah, we'll just have to keep our eyes to the ground and look for red." Anni was already on the task, getting on all fours to sneak around like a hunting dog.

Hana giggled. "Don't think you'll find them easier if you're this close to the ground."

"Perhaps, but it's fun!" Her sister replied, giggling as well.

They kept going through the forest, every now and then spotting the tiny red berries in the grass. It would be a long hunt, for the berries are small indeed and they wanted to get a decent amount for their mother.

As they moved along, Hana eventually spotted something in the distance. "Hey, look at that!"
