You may have noticed that over the past little bit, the server has been having more general hiccups/downtime than in previous months! While this means that we are growing and having more people visit the site, it also means that it's time to get some better server specifications under our belt to support those visits!

We have found a new server host which should be able to better support our needs (and prevent randomly-occurring downtime), but moving to them will require some planned downtime time.
The plan is for this downtime to begin at approximately 13:00:00 EDT on April 10th, 2020 (tomorrow). The site will be put into maintenance mode and will remain in maintenance mode for at least an hour. However, it could take up to 24 hours for the site's URL to successfully direct to the new server.

We recommend joining the Discord server for real-time updates on the transfer progress.

Once again, the famed Dragon's Dilemma¢¢ has returned (for one day only). Enter the biomes and make your choice¢and see if you survive. You may even get something from it if you choose wisely.

It has been quite an eventful last few weeks! As many of us have begun to experience the quarantine life due to Covid-19, we would like to take a moment to address our current development timeline. Though we expected to have a few new features released this week, it has been important to us and our team to make sure our personal lives are under control before refocusing our efforts on CE's continued development. However, this gives us a great opportunity to release a plethora of items to the Celestial Shops as well as get to know our player base a bit more! Over the next few weeks, we will be teasing new features, feature concepts, genes, and more over on our Discord chat. If you aren't a member yet, join! Discord is free to use and the easiest way to stay connected with other players ;)

Onto our actual updates! Earlier this week we sent a care package of 35,000 coins and 3 gems to all players to help everyone have the funds to play for longer periods of time. As a reminder, everyone is eligible for a weekly salary from the bank, and can earn a nice amount of coins by participating in the Beauty Contests, Battle Arena, and Competitions. We are working on more areas to earn currency and other perks, which will be teased very soon!

In addition to releasing a ton of amazing new genetics to the Magic Shop and Cash Shop (stocking every 30 minutes), we also have a brand-new story posted in the Battle Arena along with new battle characters. Remember, you can earn exclusive items (even a registration scroll) by defeating all of the new NPC characters.

Last year, we opened up both the Festival of Eggs and the Halloween Trick-or-Treat events to community submissions. Both events received a great amount of interest and the feedback has been positive, so we're continuing the process this year.

All submissions must be sent via PM to @Event Art Submissions. The deadline for submissions is April 8. UPDATE: We have hit our limit for eggs. No new submissions are being taken at this time. Thanks to everyone for your submissions.

Here's some base guidelines:

• The egg is the main theme, so you must be able to see the egg in the sprite.
• Size limit of 50x50px.
• Images must be submitted in PNG or GIF form.
• Eggs must be pixel art, which generally means that overall color count is limited and pixels are intentionally placed. Do not use e.g. filters or anti-aliased tools such as Photoshop's paint brush.
• Eggs may be animated, but should not use rapid or flashing effects. Animated PNGs are allowed, but your mileage may vary.
• Semi-transparency is allowed.
• Images must not be shared publicly before the event begins.
• Eggs may be rejected for reasons other than those in this post¢namely, there will be a general quality bar. We'll try to provide useful feedback around rejections.
• Only one submission will be accepted per-person.

There are a limited number of spots available. Art will be accepted on a first come, first served basis which only applies when the art is deemed to meet all of the above guidelines (that is, if you need to make changes and resubmit, that bumps you to the back of the line).

We have added new battle items to our Weaponry shop.

Whew, what a week it has been! We are so thrilled with the positive feedback from the Companion Forest and new Healing Pool feature. For those of you who missed the last update, we have officially launched two new mini-features! The Companion Forest allows players to lure and bond with companions, thus resulting in that companion being available for pairing from your inventory. We will continuously release new companions and colors moving forward! We have quite a few additional companions to release, which will happen once a week. To piggy-back off of our recent Battle Arena modifications, we have released a Healing Pool feature to allow players to restore the health of their horses on a daily basis! Additional store-line related information regarding the Healing Pool will be released in our next lore release, so stay tuned for additional Lore information!

Next up, we have a short development timeline for you all! Over the next two weeks, we will be working on improving/releasing the following:

• New login/welcome page (more information regarding CE and it's amazing features)
• Modifications to the breeding script (where the foal goes, proper notifications)
• Horse Sale/Bid notifications
• Herd-land progress

We have a ton of additional features in the works, but the ones listed above will be our primary focus until completed while maintaining feature tweaks and bug fixes. We are over the moon with the progress CE has made in 2020 and cannot wait to release all of the features we have cooked up!

Lastly, we have made modifications to our upgraded gameplay pricing! As of yesterday, upgraded gameplay starts at just $3 per month, which directly funds CE's continued development. From art to new features, upgrades funds it all! To learn more about upgraded gameplay, check out the Cash Shop for a breakdown of free vs upgraded perks!
