Lunaria is in the beginning stages of summer and the days continue to get longer and the weather warmer. Local schools are out for the season and pups are found to be with too much time and energy in their paws. This year is no different and the pups have been on their toes in anticipation of finding something to keep their young minds occupied.    Walking towards the center of town while enjoying the warm sun and cool breeze you come across a shop decorated loosely with a banner looking to be homemade in origin but well made nonetheless. Hello All,
As youve probably noticed lately, its been pretty quiet. There havent been many visible updates going out, just a few small features being tweaked or ported over to the new code. That doesnt mean Ive been idle, though. Ive been hard at work on a variety of updates, including new games and features that will be coming to the site soon.

One challenge I ran into was that every new feature needed a trophy or other custom art. Without an artist to create them, wed end up in an inconsistent state where some features had polished artwork while others didnt.

That brings me to my first exciting announcement! Im thrilled to welcome MarkiArts back to the team. Since their original departure from Icepets, Ive recommended them to as many friends as I could and stayed in touch because of their amazing attitude and incredible eye for our art. Im so happy to have them back, and they have a little welcome message theyd like to share with the community:

Howdy guys!! It's been such a long time it feels like, you may see me poking around in Discord or roaming the site. I'm looking forward to the projects I plan on spearheading! I'm a busy person these days with a full time job as art is my life long hobby, and I've had a bit of a slump this year with art. So I'll take a second to get back into the swing of things, but I hope to make you guys proud!

tae has always had a great knack for capturing the tone and personality of Icepets, and Im really excited to have its creativity helping shape the site once again. From item descriptions to event dialogue and everything in between, its writing will help bring all of these new features to life.

Finally, on a more personal note, I previously mentioned that I had lost my job. Im happy to share that Ive since started a new one, so my days are no longer spent applying, interviewing, and focusing on finding work.

Im incredibly grateful for all of the kind words and support over the last few months. Thank you all for sticking with us. Im extremely excited about the future of Icepets, and I cant wait to share everything weve been working on.

New round of trivia about a 5 more of our waja breeds is out. Still open book. You can find the answers to all questions in the library. The librarians there can vouch for me. Managed to catch some kind of bug so I am feeling under the weather and indulging lots of soup. My favorite food stuff. Can't get enough. While not related to the trivia , what is your favorite type of soup? Tell me in the comments If I had to have something out of a can it's hard to go wrong with tomato, but m y fav has to be Zuppa Toscana. I have an Olive Garden copycat recipe I make from time to time, but don't have it in me right now so canned tomato it is.

Small update, as I mentioned in the forum post the other day because of the downtime we've had people that were not able to complete their daily streaks. This is a failure on our behalf and in order to make it right we've carried everyone's forward to yesterday.

If you think yours was missed, please send in a support ticket and I'll look at it over the weekend (and carry your days forward if need be).

We aren't out of the woods yet with the server issues but it has seemed stable for the last day or so which is promising.

We are incredibly sorry about the recent down time, and how inconsistent the site has been since late last week.  I have been working with the host to understand the root cause of the issue in order to start getting it fixed.  That said, it is looking like a network hardware issue where they may need to order parts to resolve.

I will try to keep you updated as soon as I have any updates about it.

As requested, I did a quick recolor of some of our older Chance of Cloudy frames. These are now Chance of Rain frames. They will remain in [ Frame & Fortune ] after the fest ends. We did need frames that fit the stormy theme.
