Ansvin has been in full swing for a week now, and if you've been frantically restocking pinatas or gleefully smashing them to bits, you might be ready for something a little more zen. Although we still highly recommend getting your three daily whacks at the Ansvin Pinata, it is therapeutic and rewarding! The Longneck Beastclans receive a lore update, a new scene, and tradesperson companions to befriend!

Revised Longneck Lore
The revised Longneck lore is now available to read in the encyclopedia!



In addition, we have added new Longneck familiars that feature the everyday lives of the Longnecks, and a new scene depicting a Longneck caravan. These items will be stocking in the treasure marketplace, and also have a chance to drop from iron & gilded chests and Pinkerton's Pile. The treasure marketplace stock has been increased for one week, after which time these new familiars and the scene will stock at the same rate as other familiars and scenes.

Future Beastclan Updates
While there was certainly a greater-than-anticipated (and wanted!) gap between the revised harpy lore and subsequent entries, we are thrilled to announce that future Beastclan lore revisions will happen at a prompter cadence!

Today's Longneck lore was developed alongside the other planned Beastclan lore revisions to ensure consistency, overlap where it made sense, and deviations where it seemed like we were hitting the same notes twice. The remaining Beastclan lore entries each have a complete first draft moving forward. Each clan's Encyclopedia entry will go through editing and revision passes, while the art team works to complete the accompanying familiar and scene artwork for future updates.

We feel very good about where Beastclan lore is in its process. Most of all, we're excited to continue expanding our world of Sornieth for you via the additional, revised Beastclan lore throughout 2026.

I tried something that unfortunately slowed the server to a crawl around 7am today. Things seem back to normal now, and I apologize for the inconvenience this caused. The irony is that I was doing things to speed things up, and trying to do it without taking the site offline. The best laid plans of dragons and coders, and I learned a thing. Again, apologies. -- Code UPDATE 12 noon Logins should be faster when there are a lot of people on the site, and when multiple users happen to log in at the exact same time. It still won't be instant, but I'm hoping it's noticeably faster.
