Kicking off our final batch of User Requested items is the Hummus Platter and Party Quirkshake funded by @smallsamoyed and @Pixie respectively. These yummy treats can be located restocking in Affogato. They can also be found as a reward from the Candy Quest, but stock up because the Space Quest will be requesting them in a week's time!
All previous items with the name "Freakshake" have been adjusted to "Quirkshake".
The brand new Orbie Teapot has made an appearance thanks to @jolly! What a lovely way to share some tea with a friend. The Mushroom Teapot has also received an updated look! The best kind of teapot for a picnic in the woods. These are for sale at the Toy Trunk if you get lucky on a restock. The Plushie Quest however will have plenty in stock to hand out as prizes, so why not give it a try. Like with the treats above though the Space Quest will also add the Orbie Teapot to its list of items needed in one week.
The most recent batch of Custom Avatars has been completed! Aren't these adorable? In order they are owned by @Cibola, @Quilladin, @tae, and @Void.
For the most part the team has begun their six month break, there will be no further updates or additions to the site during this time. Take care everyone.

Pocket Puma Pets: New arcade games!
We have added two new games to our arcade to play and earn pence from!

We also rolled out some fixes and tweaks to the other games, including starting games muted, and reducing the volume of Sorcerer.

Flight Rising: Springswarm 2024
Have you heard what the buzz is all about? Insects are swarming across Sornieth, and bug-loving dragons everywhere are taking advantage of it!
Springswarm 
Springswarm, one of Flight Rising's quarterly "micro-holidays", is in full swing! From Thursday, March 7th (06:00 Server Time) to Monday, March 11th (06:00 Server Time), all players will experience a couple of battle-related boosts!
Bountiful Battles
For the duration of Springswarm, all all Coliseum enemies will have the chance to drop insect food items in addition to their normal loot. Other site activities such as gathering, breeding, bonding, brewing, and visiting some of the trading post dragons will also yield a chance at collecting some of the swarm! Dragon clans everywhere are taking this time to stock up on ants, bees, cicadas, caterpillars, butterflies, worms, beetles, and more to keep them satisfied until the summer time.
Battle EXP Boost
During the event, all battles will yield 50% additional EXP, so now is a perfect time for dragons to train. Grab your newest team and head out into battle!
A Swarm of Treasures!
Dragonkind are not the only ones taking advantage of the swarm. As the forests, jungles, and fields teem with life, enterprising critters rummage through the undergrowth. A few clever species of boar add their talents to this bug bonanza, using the moss and dirt to shimmy themselves into the perfect hiding spots among the newly emerged Swarm Sovereigns and Devourers. For the duration of Springswarm, the boars will drop occasionally in the Coliseum and rarely during Insect Catching. The swarm companions will also drop from the Coliseum and rarely from all type of gathering activities.
Once the swarms have subsided, the swarm will migrate onwards, but there's but dragons may still encounter one or two boars while Insect Catching.
A vista and scene have a chance to drop in the coliseum and many other site-related activities.
Seasonal Sidekicks 
Sage's Seasonal Sundries has attracted new seasonal creatures! The Plumed Wintertail familiar can be purchased from now until the end of March 21st, when Sage will begin celebrating spring and the Plumed Springtail will join her!
Mistral Jamboree Contest

Dragon Cave: 2024-03-06 - Festival of Eggs Submissions
Dragon Cave's annual Festival of Eggs is once again nearing. In keeping with tradition, the Festival is open for all to contribute their art too, allowing anyone to send in eggs for others to collect.
All submissions must be sent via PM to @Event Art Submissions. The deadline for submissions is March 27.
Here's some base guidelines:
- The egg is the main theme, so you must be able to see the egg in the sprite.
- Size limit of 50x50px.
- Images must be submitted in PNG or GIF form.
- Eggs must be pixel art, which generally means that overall color count is limited and pixels are intentionally placed. Do not use filters or anti-aliased tools such as Photoshop's paint brush.

Eggs may be animated, but should not use rapid or flashing effects.
- Animated PNGs are allowed, but your mileage may vary.
- The first frame of animation should be identifiable, to accommodate situations where animations are disabled.
- Semi-transparency is allowed.
- Images must not be shared publicly before the event begins.
- Images should not have blank space around the outer edges.
- Images must use one of the standard DC egg bases (the full-sized dragon base is strongly preferred).
- Eggs may be rejected for reasons other than those in this post—namely, there will be a general quality bar. This post outlines the most common quality issues.
- Only one submission will be accepted per-person, unless otherwise stated later in this thread.
- If your egg is a specific reference to other media (e.g. a video game, TV show, or so on), clearly identify the reference in your submission.
There are a limited number of spots available. Art will be accepted on a first come, first served basis from the moment when the art is deemed to meet all of the above guidelines (that is, if you need to make changes and resubmit, that bumps you to the back of the line).
If you would like to avoid some common sources of mistakes, you can try uploading your image to this sprite analyzer.
By submitting art to the Festival of Eggs event, you grant Dragon Cave a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license to host, use, distribute, modify, copy, display, and create derivative works of your content. You can end this license any time by contacting us, though the art may not be immediately deleted. The license also ends immediately upon notice from us that the art will not be used in the event.
