Have you heard what the buzz is all about? Insects are swarming across Sornieth, and bug-loving dragons everywhere are taking advantage of it!

Springswarm
Springswarm, one of Flight Rising's quarterly "micro-holidays", is in full swing! From Thursday, March 6th (06:00 Server Time) to Monday, March 10th (06:00 Server Time), all players will experience a couple of battle-related boosts!


Bountiful Battles
For the duration of Springswarm, all all Coliseum enemies will have the chance to drop insect food items in addition to their normal loot. Other site activities such as gathering, breeding, bonding, brewing, and visiting some of the trading post dragons will also yield a chance at collecting some of the swarm! Dragon clans everywhere are taking this time to stock up on ants, bees, cicadas, caterpillars, butterflies, worms, beetles, and more to keep them satisfied until the summer time.

Battle EXP Boost
During the event, all battles will yield 50% additional EXP, so now is a perfect time for dragons to train. Grab your newest team and head out into battle!



A Swarm of Treasures!
Dragonkind are not the only ones taking advantage of the swarm. As the forests, jungles, and fields teem with life, enterprising critters rummage through the undergrowth. A few clever species of boar add their talents to this bug bonanza, using the moss and dirt to shimmy themselves into the perfect hiding spots among newly emerged Swarm Sovereigns and Devourers. For the duration of Springswarm, the boars will drop occasionally in the Coliseum and rarely during Insect Catching. The swarm companions will also drop from the Coliseum and rarely from all type of gathering activities.

Once the swarms have subsided, the swarm will migrate onwards, but there's but dragons may still encounter one or two boars while Insect Catching.

A vista and scene have a chance to drop in the coliseum and many other site-related activities.

Fiona's Friends
Fiona has managed to acquire more familiars that she could use a hand in caring for. Those who manage to accomplish her 6 new feats may be worthy candidates!

The icy mittens of winter might be holding on tight for a few more weeks, but underneath those mountainous piles of snow, the first sprouts of spring are getting ready for their day in the sun. And it's not just the land of Terrafrost that's gearing up for a fresh start. The citizens are shedding their garb of years past and slipping into something that feels more comfortable.

Ever since Neil the Wulfer crash landed on Meteora, he's been gathering supplies to refuel and blast back off into the endless void of space. But years living in Terrafrost's orbit has helped this planet feel just as much like home. So, he's ditching his old threads and adopting a style similar to the local culture he adores.

Neil may not have any plans of launching back into space just yet, but that doesn't mean he isn't looking to trade food and toys. Visit him and play the Space Quest. You might even earn an out-of-this-world prize!



The itch to try something new must be spreading throughout Meteora because Charlie the Sharshel has decided to break out of his shell. Literally!
